JAM Hang Around purchased another pair
This is my second pair of Hang Rounds. Rate these as an excellent functionality output power and run time. Would be nice if there was a newer updated version using BlueTooth 5.x audio upgrades.

I bought a JAM Hang around speaker today. After 1 hour play, the music started to stumble incrreasingly, first little then a lot. The speaker was about 10 feet away from my laptop. What can I do to fix? Thabks.

My Bluetooth is not appearing on any devices it turns on but just doesn't show up so I have no way to pair to it.
Once turned on, the speaker will immediately search for a device to pair to; the LED will blink red and blue alternately. Enable Bluetooth on your device. From the Bluetooth menu, select “Hang Around.” When the device and Hang Around are connected, you will hear a tone and the LED will turn solid blue. How do you use headphones with jam hang around?
Thank you for your questions. This speaker plays music only from a mobile device or computer through an aux cable. You cannot connect another pair of headphones to this speaker.

Is it water proof and if i drop it in pool will it survive underwater
Yes it is waterproof up to IP67 which is dirt and water up to one meter for 30 minutes

I have just purchased a Hang Around wifi speaker. Where can I find the instruction manual? I don't see it in your list.
The instruction book can be downloaded from jamaudio.com. Click on "Support". Then click on instruction books. Use the pull down menu listed under JAM 2018 Product Catalog to select model JAM hang Around Speaker (HX-P505).

How long do you need to charge first time
Dear Colo,
The “Hang Around” speaker is powered by a rechargeable battery. The speaker comes pre-charged; however, for optimal playtime, make sure to charge before first use.
A – Unwrap the integrated charging cable and plug the micro USB end into the charging port on the speaker.
B – Connect the larger USB plug to your computer or a powered USB AC adapter. An AC adapter is not included in the box, but you can use the one for your cell phone or pick one up next time you’re at the store.
C – When the LED flashes red, it indicates that the battery is low and it’s time to plug in and recharge. Charge for about 3 hours to get up to 20 hours of play time; while charging, the light will stay solid red. Once fully charged, the light will turn off.

I've had the jam hang around since September of 2019. Its been a great speaker apart from the fact that about 2 weeks ago it stopped charging. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

How long does it take to fully charge from flat please

The speaker takes around 3 hours to fully charge, while charging, the light will stay solid red. Once fully charged, the light will turn off.

I have a weird issue. When I first got I just used an aux with my phone. After using bluetooth nothing will play on it with an aux cord. It still does bluetooth just fine. Devices work with other things just fine but aux no longer works on the speaker?

So I had this speaker for like 2 months and some how! It started to crackle and I think it was because of water getting in it but I didn’t put it in the water for too long. It’s been 2 more months and it still crakle. Why is it still crackling?

Can it play when charging?
Yes it can, when I first got it I plugged it in and paired it too see if the speaker worked and how the sound quality was. I does indeed work , for at least me.
